Yesterday on Halloween / Samhain / Día De Los Muertos, I spent a moment honoring and remembering my ancestors. I come from a maternal lineage of eldest daughters. If you are an eldest daughter, I see you - you are amazing doing all the things and taking care of all the people, THANK YOU - and you probably already know where I am going with this. When I was in elementary school, I used to leave myself post-its on the milk carton to make sure I didn't forget things. Once my dad found me sleepwalking - I was dressed, ready for school, and double-checking my homework in my sleep. I still do stuff like this, it just looks different now that I am an adult and a mom. The over-responsibility and over-functioning is real and exhausting.
p.s. I would love to practice yoga with you! Check out my free practice bundles HERE.
